Evan Evans, Britain’s most established and successful day tours operator, has launched two exciting new London walking tours offering guests a fresh look at this world renowned capital city. ‘Harry Potter Film Locations’ is a spellbinding tour uncovering many of the iconic locations that brought the eight movie series to life. See the Visitors’ entrance to the Ministry of Magic, the alleyways which inspired the shopping street of Diagon Alley and the exact spot where the Death Eaters destroyed the famous Millennium Bridge.
Plus grab that all important photo at Platform 9 ¾ where you can try and make your own way to Hogwarts!
Therese Agerberth, Evan Evans’ Managing Director, commented:

‘The Harry Potter film franchise has had a major impact on UK tourism and guests often fly to the UK with the specific intention of boarding our luxury coach tour to Warner Bros. Studio Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter. We have been working on an exciting new experience that acts as a perfect complement to the Studio Tour, taking guests through all the key London locations that were vital in helping to realise the most popular film franchise of all time. We are sure our guests will enjoy extending their magical time in London to delve deeper into the secrets of the world’s most famous wizard’.

For those looking to explore the more historic side of the city, Evan Evans has created a fascinating walking tour of three of London’s oldest pubs through the beautiful and quaint area of London’s Bankside. Hear the stories and myths behind the ale houses of Charles Dickens and William Shakespeare with your expert guide before enjoying a beer ‘tasting’ from one of the area’s widest selections of British ales and beers.

Your adventure begins at The Centre Page – formerly known as The Horn Coffee House as referenced in Charles Dickens’ ‘Pickwick Papers’ it is rumored to be where Guy Fawkes held gunpowder plot meetings.
Then it’s on to the Anchor Bankside, originally a Roman burial ground, where Samuel Pepys watched the Great Fire of London growing and where Doctor Johnson wrote part of his dictionary.

Your final stop is The Old Thameside Inn; an old spice warehouse located by the remains of Cardinal Wolsey’s Winchester Palace. Relax next to the River Thames as you sit beneath the majestic sight of the Golden Hind, Sir Francis’ Drake’s world famous ‘tea clipper’ ship.
